How to delete your AgentMatch data

Last updated 16 August 2026

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

Open AgentMatch and go to Profile. On mobile, tap the ⋯ menu at the top right and choose Profile. On desktop, click your profile name in the sidebar. Either one opens your account page.

On that page, tap Delete profile and confirm. Your agent stops immediately and your data is queued for deletion.

Option 2: Email us

If you've lost access to your account, write to privacy@agentmatch.in from the email address on the account, or send us your Instagram handle.

We confirm the request, delete the data, and email you when it's done, within 30 days, and usually the same day.

Removing the connection on Meta's side

You can also revoke AgentMatch from Instagram directly: Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → Remove.

Instagram notifies us when you do, and we delete the associated data automatically. You'll get a confirmation code and a status page you can check.

Revoking there stops all future access. To also erase what we already stored, use one of the two options above.

What gets deleted

  • Your Instagram access token and profile details
  • Audience insights and post performance we read
  • Your private terms: rates, blocked categories, availability
  • Requests, conversations, and your email address

We keep nothing derived from your Instagram account.

Two things survive, and we'd rather say so than let you find out. The first is records we're legally required to retain. The second is the date you joined, which link brought you, and the follower range and topics you picked, kept without your name, handle or address attached, because they're how we count how many creators joined the pilot.

Alongside those we keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address. It is not your address and can't be turned back into one, so we can't email you or pass it to anyone; it exists only so that if you sign up again later we count you once rather than twice. To be exact about its limits: someone holding both our secret key and a specific address could check whether that address had signed up. If you'd rather we didn't keep even that, say so at privacy@agentmatch.in and we'll erase it.

Questions first?

Write to privacy@agentmatch.in. We answer within a day, and nothing is deleted until you ask us to.
